This is a New Program where the donations we receive specifically for this will HELP, ENCOURAGE and Bring Joy to SO MANY PEOPLE!!
Who Does this Program and Your Donation Benefit?
* Helps the Rescues we partner with by allowing us to take cats from them that they have rescued and need homes. It also opens up a space for those rescues to rescue additional cats in their area.
* Helps Catify Café & Adoptions (us) to work with and get those cats ready for adoption by learning their habits and humanizing them.
* Helps "Able-Bodied" Seniors, but they DO NOT have personal funds to afford the care, supplies & food for a cat. We will be responsible for providing MONTHLY, IN PERSON, all the Cat Litter, Toys, Food and Vet Care at our expense through the donations we receive for each senior.
* Helps the Cats we place PERMANENTLY. Each single or married senior we place a cat or two with will be done so with the understanding that the "Senior(s)" are permanent "Fosters" for our cats. Under Ohio Law, Cats & Dogs are considered "Property" despite "Our Belief" that they are "Family Members"!! So, with that said, The cats we place will remain the property of Catify Café & Adoptions, Inc. and will stay with the seniors until the cats natural passing or the passing of the senior(s) or they become unable to care for them, then those cats will RETURN back to our care saving STRESS on those cats as they will return to familiar surroundings and people!! This is WHY we will work with them first for 30-90 days. They Remember!!

Our program connects these felines with seniors, ensuring that both the cats and new companions experience joy and companionship. Every cat deserves a happy ending, and through our efforts and the efforts of our partner rescues, we strive to create lasting bonds that bring comfort and happiness to both animals and humans alike. With Catify Café & Adoptions, Inc. doing monthly visits with these cats and seniors, it is our way to make sure these cats never experience neglect, abuse or health issues again and to make sure they get the best of care, including vet visits when needed.

OUR Costs Monthly to Place One or Two Cats with a Senior or Couple
What you see in the picture is the INITIAL Setup for a seniors home for one or two cats. They get One Solid Wood Cat Tree, 38lb Box Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Litter, a Litter Box, Heavy Duty Metal Scooper, Cat Toys including YEOWWW Catnip Toys, Purina Pro Plan Vital Systems Moist Food and Nutro Chicken Dry Food along with a Cat Bed. The initial cost for One Cat is $250 or for TWO Cats $375. We are an all volunteer organization so no labor costs are involved.
The the MONTHLY Costs $120.00 Per Cat ( $1440 Annually), to care for them and here is the Breakdown:
$ 49.29 for 30 cans Purina Pro Plan Vital Systems Moist Food
$ 26.00 for 38lb Box Arm & Hammer Clump & Seal Litter (Very Low DUST)
$ 12.00 for Various Brands of Cat Treats
$ 5.00 for a 40ct Case of Pure Life Bottled Water (unless Well Water is available. We DO NOT use any City Supplied Water due to Chemicals)
$27.71 to be BANKED/SAVED for Vet Visits, Medications, Surgeries, etc.
If we PLACE a "Special Needs" Cat with a senior, those cats Monthly Expenses can be anywhere from $200 - $275 for the same monthly items needed, except it would be "Prescription Food and/or Medications", which is much more expensive. We will NEVER Euthanize a Cat unless they are at the point of No Medical Treatments would help and/or that they are suffering and medically it can't be stopped.
